My name is Branislava
I am a philologist and a native speaker. I have been teaching Serbian language to Russian speakers for six years.
What sets me apart is my ability to turn any topic into an engaging and informative session. Plus, there’s always space in my class for a bit of humor.

Interesting lessons
There's no need to constantly memorize the same rules. My aim is for language learning to happen naturally through practice. For example, while we describe our favorite memes together.
Regular practice
I strive to help students start speaking Serbian from the very beginning so they can feel confident in everyday situations.
Cultural immersion
Language and culture go hand in hand, so I often discuss cultural topics with students. I help them understand what 'slava' means to us and when it’s okay to go to a kafana.
Online materials
There’s no need for you to print anything or make additional purchases. All necessary materials are available on our platform.

How it works
Zoom meetings
The majority of each class is dedicated to communication. That’s why at the beginning of each session, we discuss interesting events in your life that have occurred since our last meeting.
Online platform
Lessons are held on a modern interactive platform. This format is ideal for interaction between students and teachers.
Homework
Homework assignments are also available on the platform. There, you can draw, make text notes, create your own vocabulary list, record your voice, and so on. For some tasks, you see your results immediately, while the teacher checks others and provides feedback.
New vocabulary
For each topic we cover in class, you’ll have access to materials on the Quizlet app. It’s a convenient way to review the vocabulary we’ve learned through flashcards.

- Before the consultation, you’ll receive a Zoom meeting link, which we’ll use for the entire duration of the lessons.
- During the lesson, we’ll use an online whiteboard, which will be saved for later reference.
- Along with the whiteboard, you’ll also receive recordings of our lessons.
- Each student will have their own personal account on the platform with the learning materials.
There’s no need to download anything beforehand; I’ll explain all the details during the consultation.
- Each lesson includes text, dialogues, or videos, where we delve into grammar related to specific lexical themes.
- We engage in various types of exercises (matching phrases in Russian and Serbian, arranging dialogues in the correct order, filling in the blanks, etc.), and of course, we immediately apply all the knowledge by conversing on different topics.
- The focus of each lesson is on communication, so we reinforce both lexical and grammatical topics through conversation.
You’ll learn to converse on essential everyday topics and engage in Serbian small talk. I believe that the greatest value of our lessons lies in this — you’ll learn Serbian firsthand, acquiring phrases used in real life.
You will have homework between lessons, which will be located in a separate section on the platform with the learning materials. We’ll discuss all homework questions during the lesson.
- After the free consultation, you will receive the payment details.
- You can make a transfer to a Serbian account at the post office, any bank, or exchange office. Everywhere where it says "plaćanje računa" (payment of bills). 🙂
- It's also possible to pay by card (DINA, VISA, MASTERCARD).
I work on a prepayment basis, so if you are enrolled in a group course, you pay for 8 lessons, and if it’s individual sessions, then it’s a prepayment for 4 lessons.
The course is designed to span 5−6 months, but each person (and each group) learns at their own pace, so there is the possibility to extend the course when we feel it’s necessary.
